The alcohol-based coating is a commonly used casting in chemically hardened steel casting. Ceramsite sand for foundry coating with size 200 mesh(or finer than 200 mesh) could work as aggregate for alcohol-based coating. It can improve the fluidity of the alcohol-based coating and avoid coating defects such as clumping and uneven brushing. Ceramiste sand also has the advantages of small-angle coefficient, good air permeability, high refractoriness, small thermal expansion coefficient, etc. It is a new type of material for producing alcohol-based coatings.
